My name is Naïma Belhaj. I am a Belgian General Practitioner.

I settled down with my family in Cape Town in 2016.

I qualified as a brief therapist at the Milton Erickson Institute in Brussels.

I see people who need to learn to free themselves from their anxiety, fears, or phobias.

Brief therapy helps you to let go of issues from the past that impact your present and future.

A person suffering from anxiety can put on weight, smoke more, drink more, develop sleep problems, phobias, and fears.

Brief therapy is not “THE” solution, but just one of the solutions that can help people.

Hypnotherapy, EMDR, mindfulness, and cardiac coherence are tools that I use to achieve the goals we have set together.

Brief therapy, by definition, entails a limited number of sessions (between 3 and 5).

The first consultation consists of a counselling session to focus on the symptom (anxiety, phobia, etc.) we are going to work on.
